Fine Paintings

Historical portraiture, including miniatures, genre and landscapes together with Victorian sporting and Modern British works are always to be seen.  As with other significant consignments important pictures will be promoted online long in advance of the Sale whilst the catalogue is still in the course of production. 

Mellors & Kirk is able to remove paintings and other valuables to safe storage where, for example, an executor has security concerns.

Since it was established in 1993 Mellors & Kirk has sold thousands of pictures by important artists, including JMW Turner, Adam van Breen, Jan Frans van Bloemen, Francois Boucher and many others for prices up to in excess of £400,000.
