STORY, THOMAS - A JOURNAL OF THE LIFE OF THOMAS STORY CONTAINING AN ACCOUNT OF HIS REMARKABLE CONVINCEMENT OF, AND EMBRACING THE PRINCIPLES OF TRUTH, AS HELD BY THE PEOPLE CALLED QUAKERS Newcastle, Isaac Thompson, 1747. Folio, occasional light soiling, calf, worn, with some loss to bottom of spine and adjoining areas of both boards. This copy once belonged to the Quaker 'Friends of Pickering Meeting'. Story was a friend of William Penn who visited America and partly at his request prolonged his stay for 16 years. The places that Story visited, as well as the year, are notated in the margin of the page.
