[GERMANY THIRD REICH] A GROUP OF DOCUMENTS RELATING TO GERHARD VON HAGEL, PRIMARILY 1930's AND EARLIER loosely contained in a large folio leather wallet with embossed heraldic crest to upper cover. Hagel was ranked as a District-Office leader (Kreisamtsleiten) of the Nationalist Socialist Handwork, Trade, and Marketing Organisation (N.S. HAGO) of the German Labour Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront), the organisation in Germany responsible for commerce. Many of the documents have manuscript entries; together with a mid-19th century book in German bound in an unusual gilt velvet 'mourning' binding, and another with chromo plates in fine condition (3)
