[WORLD WAR II - AN ALBUM OF PHOTOGRAPHS OF ADOLF HITLER AND A GROUP OF ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE LIBERATION OF BELSEN] The first being a folio-sized album with printed text in German, entitled 'ADOLF HITLER - BILDER AUS DEM LEBEN DES FUHRERS', published in Hamburg in 1936, containing 202 (complete) fine tipped-in black and white photographs primarily of Hitler attending rallies etc., with introductory passages by Goebbels and Hess, in very good condition in the original red boards with gilt lettering and cloth spine, together with some loose duplicates of the photographs. Additionally there are a small number of original photographs, a few with quite horrific images, taken immediately after the liberation of the Belsen concentration camp. Provenance: brought back from Germany by Bert Unwin who served with the South Notts Hussars RHA (2)
