BIBLIOTHEQUE UNIVERSELLE DES DAMESA 24 VOLUME 18TH CENTURY SETComprising: 'Cinquieme Classe - Romans' volumes 1-20, A Paris, Rue d'Anjou, 1785-1788, plus; 'Cinquieme Classe - Abdeker, ou L'Art de Conserver la Beaute' volumes 1-4, A Paris, Rue et Hotel Serpente, 1790-1791. 24 volumes in total, apparently the complete 'Cinquieme Classe', half-titles with publisher's advert to the rear giving prices for the 24 volumes, half-title to volume 10 present but without the title itself, all uniformly bound in 18th century French mottled calf, spines with double morocco title and volume labels (all labels present), gilt lyre devices in compartments, the last three volumes match but the spine labels, though old, are different. A good clean set internally, spines rubbed and some extremity wear (24)
