A MAGNIFICENT REGIMENTAL ROYAL BENGAL TIGER'S HEAD TABLE SNUFF MULL PRESENTED TO THE LEICESTERSHIRE REGIMENT BY THE MAHARAJAH OF KUCH BIHAR, DATED 1890 originally containing a snuff box set in the top of the head, on partly silvered and oxidised brass three wheel carriage with acanthus leaf spokes and rosette hub applied with a cartouche framed by laurels, and engraved inscription to 'H' Battalion The Leicestershire Regiment, 1890Provenance: HRH Shri Sir Nripendra Narayan, Maharaja of Cooch Behar (1862-1911) by whom presented to the officers of the Leicestershire Regiment in 1890.
