A FINE ALBUM OF POSTCARDS, C1900-30 real photographic, many scarce including ships of the Royal Navy from the immediate pre WW1 period and the 1920s, many apparently photographed at the Cammell Laird shipyard Birkenhead or in the River Mersey and merchant vessels, ocean liners including RMS Titanic, Olympic, Lusitania and many others, ship launchings, royal visits, Birkenhead Floating Dock, an Admiralty yacht and other smaller vessels, printed postcards including Rotary and other series, aerial bombardment at Scarborough and West Hartlepool, adverts, John Drew Aerial Defence Series (15), topographical including village and street scenes, Bundoran and Pettigo Ireland, lighthouses and light ships (40) and Captain Scott's South Pole Expedition after photographs by H G Ponting published by the Fine Art Society, all unused (490 approx)
