A CAUGHLEY POLYCHROME PLATE, C1792-95 enamelled with cornflowers and gilt, 19.5cm diam, decorator's purple enamel L inside the footrimThis elegant cornflower and gold decoration is reminiscent of Derby, although the mark suggests factory decoration. Some workers moved between Caughley and Derby.
