GEORGE WRIGHT (1860-1942) PORTRAIT OF THE GREY RACEHORSE "GUEST OF HONOUR" IN A PADDOCK signed, oil on canvas, 59 x 90cm"Guest of Honour" was bred and owned by Major Henry Hawkins, OBE. The horse was sired by "Son & Heir" out of "Dyonisia". The horse won the Foxhall Stakes at Goodwood in 1934, the Birmingham Stakes in 1939 and the Lingfield Handicap in 1935.
