WORLD WAR ONE MM GROUP OF THREE Military Medal, British War Medal and Victory Medal 148849 GNR P E WARRINER 100/HAGRGA [148849 Gnr P E Warriner RA on pair] with Defence Medal, one Sporting and seven Red Cross badges including a silver Maltese Cross fob shield, several named to the recipient, Certificate of Transfer to Reserve, including copy of CO's congratulations, other documents, two photo postcards and press cuttings MM: London Gazette, 10 April 1918.Percy Edwin Warriner of Carlton, Nottingham (1882-1965) saw action in Palestine and on the 12th August 1917 tended to a wounded comrade whilst under fire. For this act of bravery he was awarded the MM on 21 December 1917. In World War II he served as an air raid warden.
