A RARE T J & J MAYER EARTHENWARE PUNCH BOWL, C1850-55 printed with Bacchanalians at Play, the foot moulded with dolphins painted in bright enamels, 46cm diam, impressed G and numbers, painted 608The same print occurs on another punch bowl, but on a plain foot, attributed to the Mayer factory illustrated in Ball (A), The Price Guide to Pot Lids..., Woodbridge 1970, p427.
