ARTHUR LEA (1768-1828) SILHOUETTE OF JOHN BULLOCK painted on glass, verre eglomise border, 9.5 x 7.5cm, pearwood surround, papier mâché frame with acorn hanger, old handwritten label on the reverse on the sitter's engraved bookplate dated 18 July 1809 John Bullock (1746-1818) married Barbara Pritzler (1746-1788) and in his will he bequeathed to his friend Colonel Sir Theophilus Pritzler (1777-1839) "my gold watch made by Vulliamy."
