TWO ENGLISH EMBROIDERED PICTURES, C1720 AND C1770 the oval picture of flowers tied with a blue ribbon worked in coloured wool in various stitches, the other worked in brightly coloured wool on linen in a lozenge pattern, 24.5 x 19.5cm and rectangular 21 x 18.5cm, moulded walnut frames, rectangular picture with contemporary ink inscription on the backboard " Coleherton [?Coleorton] Decr 25th 1821 this work was given to Sarah Holt by her mother, it was done by her family six generations back and has been given to the eldest girl of each family."
